i bought this expose purifier after i was noise frustrated by added digit – the Surround Air Xj3000 C (check my analyse on that digit if you desire ) and honestly i didn’t wait a lot. but was i wrong…:)))) this organisation is dead awful – lots and lots of power, brawny but yet stilly follower (you meet attending it on the prototypal 2 settings) noise pleasant design and as i was healthy to see prototypal hand- superior client service on the conception of the Winix grouping – i had a some questions and they were every answered noise promptly .
When i said – “lots and lots of noesis ” meet consider this – my experience shack is most 400 sq.feet. there were three smokers in it puffing for a some hours. the expose purifier is either on turbo fashion or the ordinal setting. every the windows and doors are closed. digit friends of mine came in and they COULD NOT verify that anybody did respiration in the room!!! no smell, NADA !!!and that is most cigarette respiration – the digit that stays for life and noise really stinks.
another example – after a some hours of ingest i opened the counterbalance and patterned the copy separate – surmisal what – it was clogged with my cats material ( the lowercase man shreds a aggregation ) , and i meet vacuumed the concern that aforementioned day! today i know and i analyse that pre-filter every 2 or 3 life and clean it meet to be sure i intend every the suction i’m questionable to.

I’ve been researching expose purifiers for awhile and eventually definite to try this digit out. I had been inactivity on Amazon’s toll to become a lowercase more competitive, but they haven’t budged in months so I eventually gave up and unfortunately had to acquire elsewhere; I prefer to acquire from Amazon Prime though because quick, safe, and cushy . This lowercase example is substantially worth the asking toll though and had I famous how such I would love it I probably would hit the “add to cart” fix daylong ago.
The Winix 5300 on its minimal environment seems to be agitated meet as such expose as my older expose purifier (Bionaire) did on it’s highest environment and the Winix does it speaking stilly (to be fair the Bionaire does hit a lower CADR rating).
The Winix is quite blasting on it’s highest TURBO setting, still this is unavoidable as it is agitated MASSIVE amounts of expose (a VERY ADMIRABLE QUALITY in an expose purifier). The Turbo environment is noise only witting to be used when you are not in the shack anyway, or if you are disagreeable to do a “quick clean” of the expose (like after an circumstance such as cooking, dusting, etc.) The “auto” feature seems to impact well, it increases and decreases the follower pace supported on what it senses the expose calibre is in the room. I encounter myself meet leaving it on “auto” most of the time.
The ECF feature is nice, you crapper hear a noise stilly clicking sound patch it is on if the follower is on the minimal environment (not the follower clicking but the ECF functioning), on higher follower settings it is undetectable. The ECF feature crapper be overturned soured and on with the press of a fix on the remote. Another pleasant feature is the built-in far control storage on the crowning of the unit.

The organisation also comes with 3 additional copy filters which are replaced more frequently as they are mostly answerable for capturing odors, hair, detritus etc. The separate was noise cushy to install and everything seems to be shapely quite sturdy no noise or quiver parts (another problem I had with my older expose purifier).
So far I am noise impressed with this unit, I’ll see how it holds up over the incoming year, and update my analyse accordingly. As for today I’m loving the Fresh Air!!!
Update 06/23/2012: Still feat brawny 2 years later, prizewinning expose purifier we’ve ever had!
